I had a great time last night at NYCWFF’s Burger Bash (my fave burger was DEF Gotham Burger Social Club, but honorable mention too to Black Tap!) and was so excited to run into a bunch of fun PR friends at the event that I hadn’t seen in ages - or had never met in real life at all.
It’s funny, as much as I continue to value the crucial importance of virtual event options (I have 3 Zoom cooking classes next week!), there’s nothing that beats the feeling of connecting live with people you value and care about, and I am so grateful for any level of being able to return to that!
Also, I have to give credit where credit is due to NYCWFF for amazing COVID precautions both leading up to and at the festival. I felt (and feel) very safe.
Related: I’ll be at both the Goldbelly and Oyster events this weekend and I hope to run into more friends there as well <3
(Shout out to my friend Amber Love Bond, who is in town this weekend, and if you are going to any NYCWFF-related events, you’ll probably run into her there!)
