Aly's Newsletter: Happy Holidays Edition

Hi, friends!

There's a fair chance this will be my last newsletter before Christmas because I absolutely see out-of-office responses I'm getting exponentially increasing the last few days.

(However, if a new batch of time-sensitive assignments happen between now and Friday, which is always possible, that will change.)

Hope everyone is doing fun, safe things! (Seriously, be careful and make good decisions no matter where you are and what you are doing. It's looking bleak out there.)

Here's what I'm working on right now and over the holiday:

1. I'm working on a story for AllRecipes on the apparent decrease of diet soda on store shelves. I'd love it if a credible expert can discuss why we are seeing less of it - is it that people are just over diet soda? Is it a marketing thing? (Zero-sugar soda is now easier to find than "diet" soda). I'd love it if someone from Pepsi or Coca Cola can send a statement I can include as well!

2. For SPY.com, I'm working on all of the following:

how to keep coffee fresh - open to expert input on this one, but also open to product pitches
