Hi friends!
We've made it to Friday on what felt like at first it would be a slow week, between Labor Day and Rosh Hashanah...and then ended up being a super busy one!
I'm just gonna make this a quick and dirty update about what I'm working on for next week before people run out the door for the weekend:
1. For Spy.com, I'm doing the following two roundups:
1 - Unique gifts for friends — We have “White Elephant” gifts and “Secret Santa” gifts already in the works, so this particular guide should be those special (universal) gifts that we would love to give our besties. They don’t all have to be low cost, but if they are expensive, they should really be worth it.
2 - Best dark chocolates - For this one too, I am trying to keep price points and availability in mind. We do want some more luxe dark chocolates, but the majority should be accessible to the masses!
3 - For Cheap Tickets, I’d love either a travel expert or a credible health expert to answer some questions over email about how to avoid getting sick while traveling. (This is not necessarily a COVID angle as more…eating the wrong food and ruining the rest of your trip. Old school problems!)
For both of these, please stick to major online retailers. That means, I-love-crunch-bars.com is not going to cut it. Please email me responses at alywalansky@gmail.com
Update on the stories I posted about Wednesday night: Cheeseburger Day, language learning apps, CheapTickets, are all wrapped up. I am however still working (at least today and tomorrow) on the Forbes stories and the two Next Century Spirits stories.
Here's some stories that have gone live since yesterday:
Food Network:
We Tried the New SodaStream Terra — And Loved It
Today.com
The best deals and freebies for National Cheeseburger Day
PS: Season 6 of Lucifer is now live on Netflix. You know my weekend plans...if you are watching too…please email me so we can be ridiculous together.
Have a great weekend
