Back in Brooklyn!

Good morning, friends!

I'm back from LA, where I was there for a quick trip for a pretty fun, unique reason. Jack in the Box brought their Monster Taco "back from the dead" - for a limited time from National Taco Day through Halloween -- and I was there for the launch event. It involved literally the taco rising from the "dead" in the form of we were at a haunted warehouse (where Saw was filmed!) complete with escape rooms, zombies, and so much more. It was terrifying - but, you can't deny it's a really unique way to do a fast food launch!

I was going to say it was a reminder to think out of the box, but considering we are talking about…well, a Jack in the Box, that seemed a bit too punny!

But I got back Monday night and now I'm here and back in the grind. I have three (yes, THREE) Zooms this afternoon so keeping this brief so I can get back to all I have to write before then!

Here's what I'm working on today:

1 - For Today.com, I'm starting to round up deals, discounts and freebies being offered at national chain restaurants/food spots in honor of Halloween.

2 - For Spy.com, I'm rounding up the best area rugs you can buy online as well as great smelling dog shampoo
