Hello from 35,000 feet!

Good morning!

This newsletter is coming to you from my flight to LA!

I had an early flight this morning and was shocked to see how crowded and busy the airport was...it felt like old times! It's amazing how these days, everything we do feels like a "first" again - if one good thing came out of this terrible, uncertain times, I hope it's that we have newly learned to appreciate the things we maybe once took for granted...like a really good latte made by someone other than yourself. Or sitting on a plane next to someone with an incredibly sexy accent...or, well, the beauty of in-flight wifi so I can come online and share these things as they happen.

Anyway, back to - scheduled business!

I'll be in LA from this afternoon through Monday morning, and I'll be in the DTLA area, near Little Tokyo. It's actually - after dozens of trips to LA - my FIRST time in this area, and I’m pretty unfamiliar.

I understand it's kind of removed from everywhere else I generally am...so would be thrilled to take any recommendations for things close to where I'll be as far as restaurants, bars, salons, spas, etc. I found out I was coming on this trip yesterday, and the event I’m here for isn’t until Sunday, so I find myself with some free time! (A super rarity on these sorts of things!)
