Industry Insights: Here's Why You Were Not Included In That Story (And How To Up Your Odds)
Also: Here's where to catch me on the radio this morning!
Happy Saturday!
It's a sunny day in NYC but slightly less melt-worthy (which we're all very grateful for, I think). For today's Industry Insights edition, I wanted to touch on a topic that comes up A LOT in my inbox.
As is clear from the daily public version of the newsletter I send out, I publish a few new stories each day. Many are roundups of some sort -- deals, products, destinations, cocktails, etc. Just about as soon as I hit send on that email, I'll get a plethora (love that word, I admit it!), asking for feedback as to why someone's client/product was not included.
I figured maybe it was time I gave a little explainer on that for everyone!
PS: If you happen to be located in the York region of southern Ontario, you can listen to me live on the radio today at 105.9 FM or stream live on their website at 1059theregion.com at around 11:30 am ET (you can stream from anywhere, of course!) - the hosts of their Millennial Balance program had read my recent Forbes story about the worldwide sriracha shortage and asked me to come on to chat about some survival tips.
If you can't catch it today, don't worry - there'll also be a link available online after to stream -- I'll share it in Monday's newsletter!
But on to today's topic! Why weren't you included in my story?
Here's why...
