Industry Insights: Here's Why You Were Not Included In That Story (And How To Up Your Odds)

It’s a holiday weekend and I’m sure many of you are already out of the office and off to fun weekend plans.
(At least, I hope you are!)
I have plans tonight with two of my oldest friends (as in time, not age, they are actually younger than me!) to try out a restaurant that just opened a few days ago that I’m SUPER excited about (more on my Instagram stories tonight!), but as I’m very aware that if I send out a paid newsletter tomorrow, no one is reading it…it’s coming a day early this week!
For today's Industry Insights edition, I wanted to touch on a topic that comes up A LOT in my inbox.
As is clear from the daily version of the newsletter, I publish a few new stories each day. Many are roundups of some sort -- deals, products, destinations, cocktails, etc. Just about as soon as I hit send on that email, I'll get a plethora (love that word, I admit it!), asking for feedback as to why someone's client/product was not included.
I figured maybe it was time I gave a little explainer on that for everyone!
