What I wanted to chat about today was how to flirt with journalists on social media. And by flirting, I mean, get to know them and establish a rapport, since we know that relationship building is, at the end of the day, as important and necessary a part of our job as what we're pitching and writing about.

Social media is a great place to share our articles and discuss current events, ideas, or just get to know each other. Personally, I share a lot of my life on social media and it's how I stayed connected with friends around the world during the pandemic -- and it's all that that makes it a potentially useful networking tool.
