Monday story leads, a weekend update + last chance to RSVP to tonight's subscriber Zoom event
and a lot more is going on -- including a new 'do!
Good morning!
I hope that everyone celebrating a holiday this weekend had some meaningful and delicious time with friends, family, and other loved ones.
Important reminder: TONIGHT is my Zoom for paid subscribers. There’s still some room! Check out how to join us here.
Passover is, of course, all week, so I’m still very much in cooking mode and there's tons of recipes to check out on my Instagram right now. Check out some of what’s been cooking below!
It was also a fun weekend because I got my hair freshly Japanese straightened for spring/summer. I was a keratin girl for years there -- and it's great for the people who it works out well for - but I wanted something a bit more long term and substantial (and, well, low-maintenance), and Japanese straightening has always been that for me. Plus, I have some outdoor high humidity work stuff coming up (like the Kentucky Derby!) and now I know my hair can stand up to the challenge...
(New hair photo below! Also Scarlette and Lily got their Passover groomings this past week, but Lily refused to pose for a selfie with me. She was all like NO PAPARAZZI PLEASE. So whatever. Here's me and Scarlette. She loves selfies as much as her momma.)
