Thanks SO much for attending today's town hall webinar event!
Hi, everyone!
I host town halls, webinars, and AMA sessions every month or so, and I’ll be honest - there’s almost always some degree of drop-off.
Sometimes, to a significant degree.
Those of you who host events and dinners for your clients can relate, I’m sure.
So, it’s an odd joy — and wonderful surprise — when you host a session and, not only does the session reach capacity, but every single person who RSVP’d showed up…and on time, as well!
I know there were some requests, but I won’t be sharing a recording of today’s session — it was important to me, due to the specific type of content and structure of this particular workshop, that we make it a safe place where people can speak freely and be heard…and I don’t think people would feel as comfortable about that if I was to share a recording of it with our community after.
However, I can share just some of the emails I’ve gotten since from people eager to do it again soon!
Hi Aly, Thanks again for taking the time to host the Zoom call this afternoon. I thought it was a great call to attend and hear that other PR execs are having the same challenges that I do.
Thank you so, so much, Aly! Such terrific information, and always love to see your kind face!
Hi Aly, Thanks so much for that “meet up!” While I didn’t pipe up as others had already expressed my same concerns, it was nice to know I'm not alone.
So, yay! I’m so glad people got so much out of it — and that only means one thing: We’ll have to do it again next month! More information on that soon…
I know there sometimes feels like there is a disconnect between how journalists work, how publicists work, and how best we can work together in a way that we can all feel is productive and positive — and conversations such as these, it’s a big part of how we get there, and I’m just so honored you trust me enough to be part of leading that conversation.
Meanwhile, if you have any ideas for a session type, format, or content area I should try to get working on for this community, email me any time — I’d love to hear your thoughts and see what’s possible.
