Tons of new stories pending....

No time to chat about TV today :(

Hi friends,

I really wanted to do a deep dive into Inventing Anna (which I completely binged in 3 days and finished last night and I’m so obsessed). However, I have a ton of new pending assignments, and I need to get right to work…

Here's what I'm working on:

1 - For TODAY.com, I'm rounding up deals and discounts at chains in honor of National Margarita Day on 2/22/22. (I just never get tired of writing out that date!) If you have anything that may be a fit, please email me ASAP.

2 - For Pawp.com, I'm looking for veterinarians to comment on the following two stories:

3 -  For SPY: I’m rounding up best sparkling  and/or white summer wines: Similar to the last story I did on sparkling wines, but with a summer angle. Specifically, what are the best light wines that are ideal for warm summer days. Would love to have some somms weigh in on this as well. If pitching me a specific wine, please be sure to include a link to a major retailer where it’s sold (think Drizly, Reservebar, Wine.com, etc).

I’m also still working on a story on kitchen gadgets under $50. These can ALSO be items that are normally over $50 but are currently on sale. Please be at a major online retailer, preferably Amazon or Walmart.

Here’s what’s cooking…

I’m obviously slammed today and I don’t want to to have to first make dinner tonight, so I have smokey, spicy chili in the slow cooker right now. I put it up this morning before work and it’ll cook all day until I’m ready to eat it tonight.

It’s the same recipe I shared a few weeks ago, but if you want to see how to make it, there’s a video on my Instagram stories right now! I’m using my beloved and very worked-in 4-quart Crockpot, which is easily enough to make one serving for me tonight (or, er, probably two), and freeze a bunch for other nights. So imagine how much you can make in your larger one!
