Good morning!
There’s lots of pending content I’m working on so going to keep today’s intro very short and sweet so you can send me all your beautiful pitches ASAP.
A quick tip before you go about pitching items for gift guides (because there is one in this email!): Remember that we receive THOUSANDS of pitches for every guide, and sometimes we receive pitches that aren’t a fit for what we are working on today but may be a fit for what we’re working on next week or next month. That’s why having email subject lines that are as descriptive as possible (and email bodies that are searchable and give all the pertinent info) is so helpful.
If I go back into my inbox, a email subject like “per your substack, gift guide item!” will not tell me anything at all. But “pink martini glasses for summer entertaining” tell me exactly what is inside that email. Think SEO. Think descriptive. Think searchable.

I’ll also be in Fort Lauderdale (very briefly) in mid-November (just for about 24 hours or so before a cruise).
