100%! Making the distinction between gifts and samples to clients is always important as well. I always say non-returnable product will be required for reviews/placement consideration and ask if they are open to gifting media as relationship builders for the brand. And making it clear in my request to them for product - gifting as a "thank you", etc. or a sample for consideration in upcoming editorial or X story. Thanks for sharing Aly!
