As promised in yesterday’s newsletter, last night I made a Thai-inspired spicy shrimp and veggie stir fry on my Instagram stories.

It came out super yummy. Here's a picture below!

Those Instagram stories expire in 24 hours, so that means you still have a few hours to catch them if you still want the recipe and live cooking video before it is gone!

In other fun news, I’m finally upgrading my iPhone. I’ve had the iPhone X for…three?? years, and it was very much time. My new iPhone 13 Pro arrives in a few days - so totally hit me up with any recommendations for fun cases and accessories. I’m all ears, and your suggestions may pop up in a gift guide soon.

Here's what I'm working on for today:

1. For Today.com, I'm beginning to round up deals, discounts, and freebies at chain restaurants in honor of National Taco Day. I'll be working on this one through Friday, so it's a rare time I have a few days to play with on one of these...If you represent a chain this applies to, please send your deals my way! Must be a deal related to tacos, and must be at a restaurant...(I know that sounds redundant, but you would be SHOCKED at the left field pitches I got for the pepperoni pizza one earlier this week!)

2. Several of the stories I posted about working on yesterday are now wrapped up. I no longer need any pitches for drugstore shampoos or for the coffee lover gift guide.

However, I am still accepting pitches for gifts for people who love to read (that does NOT need to be books though - try to think out of the box when pitching for that one), and fruitcakes you can order online. To be clear - I mean fruitcakes. Not cakes that happen to have fruit in them. There was some confusion in the responses!
