I saw it years ago when it was first on actual TV - but honestly, wasn't a fan. It's a cute series - but veers so far away from history that it's infuriating for anyone who has studied that period.

Have you seen Reign yet? It’s been out for awhile on Netflix and is about Mary Queen of Scots….definitely along the lines of the Tudors.

Very true - my husband is from Scotland and was commenting on that throughout, but we watched it anyhow!
I loved Reign - for the dresses alone!!!
