OK, the Lucky Charms cookies have just made my daily to-do list. The pictures show that they turn out great--so I definitely want to try! Thanks for the share!!
Well, we made them! Recipe for cookies worked perfectly! Kids were ruffled a bit that we needed to pick through Lucky Charm cereal to collect the marshmallows for the recipe because that meant less (or none) should they opt to have a bowl for breakfast. :) Honestly, when the cookies were baked, they were sweet enough so no frosting necessary. My guess is that the frosting hides the marshmallows in the cookies since if anywhere near the top of the cookie, they emerge from the oven dark brown in color. No difference in taste mind you but frosting covers it right up and makes it Insta-ready. :) I'm grateful to you for the head's up since I was looking for an activity and something unique to top off our corned beef and cabbage dinner. This worked perfectly. Thanks, Aly!! :)
The "cereal milk" frosting is what I can't wait to try. My kiddos will go nuts. I rarely allow sweet cereals in the house, but Lucky Charms for St. Patrick's Day celebration is a must. Thank you again for sharing the idea (and a recipe!) so we can give it a whirl. I will let you know! :)
Pizza, cookies... YES!!
Okay, I'm SO glad you made the distinction between kosher for Passover vs kosher - definitely a learning moment for me!
No problem! I think I'm going to do a dedicated newsletter to go further in-depth because MANY people do not know the distinction.
